bollege so far

This was something that I hadn’t really planned on writing about, but a friend of mine gave me the fabulous idea of going for it.

University for me so far has been okay. I can’t really say that I wake up in the morning looking forward to class. Some days are worse than others. The classes I’m taking aren’t ridiculously difficult, if anything they’re pretty easy and I had it worse senior year of hs.

This is what my school schedule looks like:

7am Biology lecture

3pm Coll. Algebra

7am lecture

3pm Coll. Algebra

7am Biology lecture

9:45am Biology lab

For the seven am classes I have to wake up pretty early to drive all the way to school. It’s a fatass drive but I can’t do much other than get it over with. I actually kinda like being up early because I get to see some beautiful sunrises on my way to school. So it’s not all that bad.

Now let me tell you more about my classes. In my bio lecture, the girl I sit next to is from Chicago, which is dope; she’s nice and sometimes she turns in my worksheets for me which is super sweet. I kinda feel bad for not knowing her name.  Math class is the class I look the least forward to because it’s in the middle of the day, I don’t really talk to anyone in there, and there’s traffic on the 10 when I’m driving back home. Plus the professor is Russian or Ukrainian and sometimes it’s tough to actually learn anything. Lab is probably my favorite class to go to. There’s a girl named Amber there that I meet with every week before class to finish lab assignment due that day.  She’s super nice and has a dog named Mocha. The people in my lab group are pretty chill too, there’s Duncan, Luke, and. Alyssa. Duncan is a junior in college, so he’s almost on his way out. He’s pretty laid back and contributes a lot to the group. Luke is a clown, he’s always trying to be funny, but he goes too far sometimes and makes it awkward for everyone. Alyssa is nice, she’s sweet and last week she asked me for help in choosing her new hair color.

I don’t really feel anything towards college, I don’t really like it but I don’t hate it either. It’s just something I have to do; almost like a chore. I’m sure that it will get better with time, but in the meantime I just gotta ride it out and go with the flow because it will all be worth it in the long run.
